Should be Sugar regulated like cigarettes or alcohol?

White sugarUS scientists say that sugar is bad for public  health and should be controlled. According to the Univercity of California researches, sugar is contributing to obesity in the US and what is more important affecting people’s metabolism, hormones and blood pressure.

The “The Toxic Truth About Sugar” article has been published in the journal Nature and according to that article during the past fifty years the consumption of sugar was tripled around the globe and is causing 35 million deaths a year.

What can be done about it you may ask?  First, more information needs to be available to public about sugar effect. Secondary, lowering the consumption of sugar is absolutely necessary especially fro kids.
