Whether or not Hillary Clinton violated any federal laws by using her private email for work will heavily weigh on the federal court’s decisions, along with the FBI’s discoveries and other federal agency involvement. Much like a certain “Clinton” did in the past, “pleading the fifth amendment” appears to be a common trend. While it has been confirmed that confidential, classified, and “Secret” wires and documents were sent, received, and shared on Hillary Clinton’s private email server, public access, and verification has been understandably limited. Collaboration by the U.S. government will likely be limited also in the tone it sets publicly, and how it elaborates on what exactly Clinton shared, received, and the ways which she did or did not put our country’s national security at risk.

According to Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton of the right-wing organization, Clinton is once again flexing her muscles and ability to side-step the law. Unsurprisingly, even left-wing organizations and democratic followers and supporters want answers as well. Regardless of political party, this behavior is seriously concerning – especially since Hillary Clinton is currently running for, and may very well be the next U.S. President.

In the latest judicial hearings, Clinton again unsurprisingly attempts to exclude herself from knowledge and liability with regards to her lawyers and any other ‘conspirators’ which were elected to and responsible for clearing her private server, email accounts, and a suspected more than 38,000 potentially incriminating and national security-jeopardizing cables. Clinton or “her lawyers” relied on a service by the name of BleachBit which is by no means an amateur provider that goes into your private email server and presumably, permanently deletes any and all data. To add to suspicious, this is a very advanced, technical service and likely “re-encrypts” empty files or permanently removes any lingering, suspicious content left on the server.

This is a very concerning attempt to arguably remove from the government and public eyes any serious evidence pertaining to this case. Worse, this entire case has the potential to set a new precedent in the United States which more or less arguably says to the people “if you are of power or rich, you may do as you please and use political connections and money to avert responsibility for (not to exclude) breaking the law”.

Clinton was anything but enthusiastic at her most recent hearing, and the majority of her responses – presumably at the recommendation of her attorneys – consisted of “I do not recall”, uncertainty, and a consistent willingness to actually blame her lawyers, previous employees, and even the government for the situation. As long as this entire case and investigation have existed, Clinton’s most viable defense appears to be a weak-witted justification that running and using her own private email server was more “convenient” for her, which is why she claims she did it.

Whether or not Clinton will be held accountable for her actions is uncertain, and worse, how it – if at all – affects her campaign and eligibility to run as a presidential candidate is of equal interest. However, as it stands, it would appear as though the federal government has been and continues to be willing to look past this entire situation, continuing to allow her to run for president. This, from both an ethical and legal perspective, appears incompetent and impractical at best, and at worst demonstrates some prevalent presence of corruption and bribery, along with blatant neglect of our country’s military secrets and political strategies. This, done by the same person which is being considered and voted for to run our country.

While the State Department has conducted it’s investigations and found Hillary Clinton not only to be oppositional to an interview or statements, it’s also been pointed out her repeated warnings, yet neglect to halt the utilization of private emails or servers to conduct government business.

Sending government correspondences – confidential or not – through a personal mobile device, private server, or email provider has been demonstrated by the Department of State to have been both dangerous, as well as neglectful on Clinton’s part.

Although many are claiming the constant-focus on this situation with Clinton stems from the reality of her current tenure and attempts to run for president on behalf of the Democratic Party, others argue that the topic is very significant, and might lead voters to doubt Clinton’s stability, level of accountability, and perceived negligence in this particular situation – as well as potential future incidents.

According to State Department records, upwards of 50,000 various emails were sent between Clinton and other government officials on her private Blackberry, from a personal email address – on a markedly otherwise “unsecured” network, or server.

Both supports of Clinton as well as some White House officials point out that cyber-security regulations, expectations, and agreements have been “lax” and missing major policy acts well before Clinton was even in office.

Federal courts on the other hand refer to the Federal Records Act, and imply that Clinton should be held legally liable for her mistakes, acknowledge them, and potentially be penalized for doing so.

Current and continued investigations into the matter via the FBI has also brought to light the reality that Clinton was not the only government, or White House official during this period, nor in prior incidents whom have also sent unsecured emails or correspondences related to government-business.

The Inspector General has in more than one instance accused Clinton of being in violation of the Federal Privacy act, and even in lieu of defense of Clinton by Rep. Elijah Cummings, D-Md., top Democrat on the House oversight committee, the IG nor the Federal Government seem to express any genuine interest in looking past these discretions.

From another angle, State Department spokesman Mark Toner expressed his acknowledgement that state and federal regulatory policies and monitoring of government or White House officials undoubtedly could be further secured and protected in the near future.

Although recent policies have been enacted in response to this entire Clinton “shenanigans”, it still doesn’t account for the reality that other White House and government representatives have over the recent years committed comparably similar offenses.

Ultimately, we’re drawn back to both the question and reality of whether or not Clinton is guilty or should be held accountable for her cyber-security breaches or actions, and likewise whether or not comparable offenders will also be brought to light and prosecuted – or at a minimum face public scrutiny.

The 2012 election made for quite a night for those who are in favor of medical hemp. In fact, it was quite unprecedented with two states even legalizing hemp for recreational purposes. Colorado and Washington were the two states that did this and it’s something that’s being talked about all across the country. Will it set a precedent? Is this just a fluke? What will the federal response be. There are many questions and not many answers at this point.

It’s uncertain if the law will even be implemented, however, since the federal law indicates medical hemp is still illegal. This could complicate matters a bit, as the federal government would have every right to come in and arrest people trying to carry out the state law. You can see how this could be very problematic and is causing some hesitation in those looking to enact the law right away.

Though there is some concern over the idea of medical hemp tourism where people would come to the state just to use it, for the most part, the country as a whole is in favor of it. More and more people are recognizing the benefits of medical hemp and how it makes many people’s lives better.

Many people wouldn’t even be smoking the medical hemp. They’d be using vaporizers to intake the substance, which is even less intrusive than standard smoking and tends to go against what people typically envision in terms of hemp. Still, the federal government isn’t too keen on the move. The Obama administration has already cracked down on dispensaries in California, so who knows what this new move would do?

The new laws in Colorado and Washington would allow for personal possession of medical hemp for up to an ounce for anyone over the age of 21. It would also carry similar taxation and require the same licensing as alcohol. Many agree that this is a fair plan for regulation of the substance. People still wouldn’t be allowed to use it in public, however, neither would they be able to grow it themselves.

All of this is good news for those that enjoy using vaporizers and have yet to enjoy medical hemp. For those that live in Washington and Colorado, a whole new world just opened up to them. All of this is positive and should bode well for the future of medical hemp. Now the federal government just has to get on board.

MOSCOW – With less than two weeks until elections, Russian Prime Minister and presidential candidate Vladimir Putin pledged to spend 23 trillion rubles ($770 billion) on strengthening the country’s army over the next 10 years, the Kremlin’s biggest military spending spree since the Cold War.

Putin vowed to deliver an “effective and asymmetrical response” to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization’s plan to cast a missile-defense shield over Europe while thoroughly overhauling the army’s ability to confront modern threats. If approved, the program would tack on more than $120 billion to a $650 billion defense-spending increase pushed through last year, even though a top official warned it may push Russia’s budget past its breaking point.

Imagine that. You work hard to pay taxes which suppose to help our fellow Americans while they are on welfare and what you have no idea that people might be using the debit cards at strip clubs, liquor stores or casinos.

“We have an obligation to root out any kind of fraud and abuse and waste of taxpayer dollars,” bill sponsor Rep. Charles Boustany (R-La.) told HuffPost. “At a time you want to insure that every federal program we have has proper integrity and the money is actually getting to needy families, to needy children, this is something we need to act upon.”

The ban on welfare card withdrawals at casinos and strip clubs previously passed the House as part of a broad spending bill in December. Other provisions of that measure, which Republicans are pushing in negotiations over the reauthorization of the payroll tax and extended jobless aid, include drug testing for unemployed people and denying benefits to claimants who don’t have high school diplomas.
