Right Medical / Nikon Speedy K

The speedy K by right medical is a good small and modern autorefractor keratometer with automatic printing and wireless transmission of the keratometry and refraction data meaning that you can get the information you need fast. The readings only take 0.45 seconds for keratometry and peripheral keratometry readings or each individual reading can be done in 0.35 seconds each with a seamless transfer to you remote vision unit allowing you to quickly move on from the pre-test. The same model is available from Right Medical and also Nikon.

Burton Bark 80

The Burton Bark 80 is built for ease of use with a joy stick input and good sized screen, measurements take only 0.15 seconds and the minimum pupil diameter is 2.9mm meaning no need to make pupils dilate.

Canon RK-1

The Canon RK-1 is an entry level model and though it may look basic it provides a high level of accuracy and allows you as an optometrist to do a cost effective pre-test to give a estimation for a prescription and to measure the patients’ corneas  to ensure contact lenses will fit comfortably.

This Canon Autorefractor Keratometer is top of the range and includes every feature you could want including recording leds opacity to pre-test patients with conditions

causing hazy vision. It has the same wide measurement angle as the RK-3 and is a great looking and modern unit bound to impress your patients; it can be connected to compatible canon printers too for fast print outs.

Charops MRK-2000

One of the fastest autorefractor keratometers on the market the Charops MRK-2000 is able to do all measurements simultaneously and in only 0.15 seconds and a serial port means they can then be printed or transferred to other devices immediately.

One of the newest and most modern autorefractor keratometer, it is quick to setup and adjust using a touch screen or joystick, this takes seconds and the measurements come back even more quickly.
